FAQs

WHAT IS TWEET?

TWEET is a student society founded in 2014 and based in the University of New South Wales (UNSW). We place a strong emphasis on helping female Electrical Engineering and Telecommunication students feel connected in what may otherwise be an isolating field. We also aim to lead social change to decrease gender disparity in this field. Some events that we hold throughout the year are:

  • De-stress Meetups with other female EET students
  • Open-Labs for Academic Help
  • High School Outreach Events
  • Industry Events

IS TWEET ONLY OPEN TO FEMALE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS?

No, the society is open to all interested members! Just head over to our Facebook page or email us to sign up. However, you must be studying or have previously studied at UNSW.

HOW DO I LEARN MORE ABOUT YOUR EVENTS?

We post all our upcoming events on our Facebook page. We also have Facebook groups for anyone to ask questions whether academic or social. Otherwise feel free to explore this website as we also keep it up to date.

HOW CAN I CONTACT TWEET?

You can message us on our Facebook page, and we will get back to you promptly. Alternatively, head over to our Contact Us page to fill out a contact form.
